Q.  What does the DE symbol mean?

A. Some links on this site with the symbol "DE" are hosted (in English) on the AC Schnitzer Germany website www.ac-schnitzer.de, and will open in a new tab or window on your computer. There are no prices on the German pages. After viewing these pages simply close the tab or window to return to AC Schnitzer UK.

Q. What do the letters and numbers like "E46" and "R50" on the price list mean?

A. BMW and MINI use these model codes to refer to a car while it is being developed. You'll need your model code to find your car in the price list. Click the following links to find out your model code. Call us if your car is not listed or if you are unsure.

Q. I just want to convert my car to an AC Schnitzer car, how much is that going to cost?

A. Everyone's perception of what constitutes a conversion is different, some people just want the "look" and others will also want engine and suspension upgrades that may not be as obvious. Because of this, we list component prices separately. Let us know what you'd like, and we can put together a package price for you including all painting and fitting charges. You can use the quote request form here to give us an idea of what you are looking for.

Q. Where can I get the work done?

A. At our workshops near King's Lynn, Norfolk. Most competent bodyshops can also handle the painting and fitting work required for aerodynamic parts. If in doubt, call us with your location and we will recommend a way forward for you.

Q. I've seen engine tuning options elsewhere at lower cost, are they the same as AC Schnitzer?

A. AC Schnitzer engine tuning components are put through exhaustive testing procedures to ensure performance, reliability and compatibility with all electronic systems before being released to the public. In addition, all our engine tuning includes a 2 year warranty on the engine/drivetrain to run concurrently with the manufacturer's warranty so that you are covered in the unlikely event that BMW/MINI step aside from their obligations in the event of a problem. Conditions apply, but this warranty is exclusive to AC Schnitzer so is not available from any other engine tuning manufacturer.
